| DEBEGLASS - TERMINATION OPTIONS |
| Method 1 - Terminating using Debeclips |
![]() |
| By far the quickest and most convenient method of terminating Debeglass is to use a Debeclip. This method is suitable for 4, 5 and 6 mm Debeglass. All that is required to perform a termination, beside the Debeclip, is a phillips head screwdriver. Shown above is a Debeclip terminating a length of DB-5, 5 mm Debeglass. 100% of the Debeglass's tensile strength available when using a Debeclip terminator. |

| Tie a knot in the end of the Debeglass and measure 30 cm back from it. |
![]() |
| Having
first un-screwed the Debeclip cover, hold the 30 cm point
of the Debeglass on the edge of the Debeclip opening, and curl the Debeglass into the Debeclip. |
![]() |
| Continue
to roll the Debeglass into the Debeclip. Making sure the Debeglass is around the outside of the Debeclip's centre section. |
![]() |
| Once the
30 cm length of Debeglass has been curled around the centre section of the Debeclip, tuck the knot into the centre and replace the cover. |
| Method 2 - Using
Glue & Binding with Nylon Line plus Heatshrink |
![]() |
| The above illustrated method of
termination provides the user with 95 - 100% of the Debeglass's tensile strength. |
| Method 3 - Using
Stainless Steel Wire Rope Grips and Thimble. |
![]() |
| The above illustrated method of
termination, using 3 x Wirerope Grips and a Thimble, provides the user with 60 - 65% of the Debeglass's tensile strength. |
